FAKE RESPIRATOR MASKS FROM CHINA
Fake, non-certified face masks are flooding Australia. Many Chinese fabric and clothing factories are wholesaling low cost high margin face masks claiming to be respiratory face masks when in fact they are simple fabric masks that cannot provide any protection whatsoever. They are not respiratory face masks. This has now caused massive confusion and panic in the Australian marketplace. Whilst there are several genuine and certified quality respirator mask manufacturers in China, it will be difficult for you to distinguish. You should only purchase from a trusted source.
- Fact: Over 90% of all respirator masks are made in China.
- Fact: Less than 13.5% respirators are produced in the Suzhou Medical Precinct, Asia’s premium medical equipment specialist region.
The Bio Mask is a genuine 100% certified respirator made within the Suzhou Medical Precinct. It is made to the strictest standards, surpassing international standards for performance; importantly for airborne contaminant removal. We urge all Australians to beware and pay particular to place of manufacture and certification.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is it called a Bio Mask?
Because it’s got 2 layers of membrane filtration. It’s not like a fabric mask or surgical mask, it’s a purpose built airborne particulate respirator.
How can you guarantee the masks quality?
Every Bio Mask production run is batch tested. Each delivery of raw internal filter membrane material is tested prior to use to ensure it is sub micron in pore size.
How long will the bio mask be effective for?
The mask has a work life of 8-10 continual hours. If worn intermittently it may last several days where the wearer uses the mask for a few hours per day.
Can my mask be cleaned and reused?
No. The mask is designed as a one of use.
Does the mask have a shelf-life?
Yes, the mask has a shelf life when remained sealed in its bag for 5 years.
Can i adjust the mask?
Yes, however on touching the mask ensure that your hands are washed in soapy water for a minimum of 30 seconds. There is always the possibility that particles may be sitting on the exterior of the mask when removing it, hence wash hands thoroughly before touching face, eyes or nose.
Are there different sizes?
No, one size fits all.
I’m asthmatic, can i wear one?
Yes, but if u want check with your doctor.
Can my child wear a mask?
Children should only wear masks when under strict adult supervision.
How long will the mask last?
The mask being a protection device is designed for a 1 off 10 continual hour use. So, if you’ve worn it for 4 hours one day you can use it for 6 hours another day.
What if the mask gets dirty?
You should not use a dirty mask as dirt may have clogged up the internal membranes.
My mask feels damp?
Do not use a damp mask as the moisture has probably affected the pores in the masks membrane.
How many masks do I need?
If there’s two in the family I’d buy at least 20.
If u each use 1 mask every 2 days, then you will need 7 every fortnight.
So, 20 will see you through till the end of April.
What are your stock levels like?
We have stock but we expect a large run.
We don’t know when we can get more…
Air freight is now restricted, the dollar is low, so the only thing that will happen is stocks will be strained and mask prices, if they are genuine and really work will just go up.
How do you ship them?
We ship by Australia Post, using a tracking system. AP announced we should expect delays in deliveries. Workplace distancing has resulted in the reduction of the number of sorting depots and staff. Expect delays.
PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS
